Quietly located camp site with restaurant and all comfort in a historical setting. The spacious pitches are not separated by hedges. Excellent base for lovely excursions in the direct surroundings.

We stayed for 2 nights in May. It is the worst campsite I have ever stayed in. The photos seem to be from 2007. There are no lights on at night, only by the disgusting toilet block and showers. No food on on offer as they have no-one to run the restaurant. The elderly couple who run it were pleasant enough and there is a groundsman. The pitches are unmarked tho seem to be a decent size. Very expensive for a campsite that is so run down and needs a lot of upgrading. The chateau is lovely to see but closed up. The do accept dogs.

To many trees with over hanging branches, grass needs cutting

Arrived in rain. Disappointing site. Sanitary facilities are very dated. The pictches are dark and gloomy. The welcome was warm enough but the restaurant was closed for the summer as nobody could be found to run it. The site itself was lovely but definitely needs some investment and updating. It was also very expensive. Unless there is some investment put into the site it's definitely not to be recommended.

what an amazing tranquil place, the grounds are beautiful even though it rained solidly for us for three days! The staff are very friendly, fresh bread in the morning, and endless dog walks in the woodland direct from the site! Totally recommend this site!
