At this campsite, you are surrounded by vast forests, with pretty lakes and babbling brooks. A perfect place for those looking for peace and quiet and nature lovers, as well as for cyclists and hikers! Ramstein Plage campsite has an ideal location in the unspoiled Regional Nature Park Vosges du Nord, near the village of Baerenthal in the Moselle department. The campsite has an excellent restaurant and a great swimming pool, although you can also swim in the lake right next to the site.

Secluded fields and charming hiker's huts

Ramstein Plage is a campsite with a relatively large number of permanent places. However, these are clearly separated from the pitches for visitors. So tourers can really experience the true spirit of camping at this campsite. And all that on beautiful, large pitches in a wonderfully wooded area! There are also charming, but efficiently furnished hiker's huts for rent for two to four people.

Swimming fun in lake and pool

In the corner of the campsite, just next to the lake, you'll find a good rectangular swimming pool. You can also splash around in the lake and swim to improve your fitness. The lake has a marked swimming area with an adjoining two-metre-wide sandy strip. How about sunbathing on the waterfront? The sunny grassy meadow is the perfect place to do so.

Plenty of entertainment in the summer holidays

In the summer holidays, a professional entertainment team works at this campsite. They organize varied activities for the whole family every day, including sports tournaments, quiz nights, themed dinners, mini concerts and family afternoons. Each Sunday, over drinks, the programme for the following week is announced.

Liked - You get a good plot and a good night's rest for the most part.
Disliked - The toilet building was extremely dirty, with some bowl having massive brown stains on top of the bowl.

Liked - Pleasant surroundings with clean facilities. Lovely views.
Disliked - Shame restaurant was closed and local shops were shut for holiday period during our stay. Just bad timing for us.
