It is no coincidence that Camping Porte des Vosges, or ‘Gateway to the Vosges' is situated at the beginning of the Vosges. As the campsite is very close to the A31 highway, it is an ideal stopover site for Dutch tourists. Are you staying longer? Enjoy the diverse landscape; mountains, vineyards, vast woodlands and countless small lakes. The campsite is spaciously laid out and very green and sloping, creating the impression of camping in a park.

The reception and snack bar are located in the same building. After a long day's journey, take a refreshing dive in the small outdoor heated swimming pool with adjacent sunbathing field.

Camping or glamping?

All types of campers feel right at home at the Porte des Vosges campsite. Guests with a tent, caravan or mobile home can camp on spacious pitches, some hardened and some grassed. The pitches are not demarcated, but are sufficiently spaced to ensure privacy.

Do you like camping, but are looking for more comfort and luxury? If so, you can rent one of the glamping tents. These lodge tents, suitable for 2-6 persons, are fitted with comfortable beds, a kitchenette and a wooden terrace. As soon as you arrive on the campsite, your holiday begins.

The sanitary facilities of the Porte des Vosges campsite have a modern look, but are quite small. As a result, you may have to wait a bit in high season to shower or do the dishes. In low season the sanitary facilities are heated.

Liked - Pitches are adequate for 1 night stay. As we arrived late we cannot comment on the catering facilities, these were closed early.
In the areas close by, there is a McDonalds and Pizza Company open late in the evening. Also large supermarket Le Clerc in same area
Disliked - The showers water was plain cold - most disappointing

Liked - Booked for one night to break up our journey to the south of France. The pitch was large for a 7.5m caravan and the facilities were very good. We also took advantage of the on site breakfast which consisted of croissant, bread, cheese and jam and orange juice and coffee, simple but sufficient for us to make a lunch from too.

Liked - Very efficient and friendly check in at reception. Great pitches, lovely pool, very nice food at the snack bar and cold beer and soft drinks. Shower/loo block very modern and clean. In the future would stay longer.
