Campsite La Yole is located on the Atlantic coast, in the beautiful Vendée. A few minutes' walk and you're on the beach! The jewel in the crown of this well-kept campsite is the water park. Here, the whole family can swim, dip and slide. Together with the playground, the pools make La Yole a real family campsite.

Well-kept pitches

The multilingual receptionists show you the way to your pitch. It is not difficult to find, as the campsite is very well laid out. Spacious pitches are situated on grassy fields and along lanes. They are neatly laid out and are separated by hedges. Are you in for a holiday full of fun? Then choose a pitch on one of the lanes. Would you like a bit more privacy? Then choose a spot hidden between the bushes.

A real family campsite

Camping La Yole is a real family campsite. Your children will love it here. They can have fun on the large playground or in the inflatable ball pit. They will find friends for the whole holiday thanks to the many activities on offer. Together they can play games in the forest or climb on the climbing wall. The arcade is for gamers and table footballers.

A swimming paradise

The pool complex is the jewel in the crown of La Yole campsite. The beautifully shaped pools have room for all the family. The little ones can splash around in the large paddling pool with the water spouting monkey. The two lagoon pools are for the bigger water rats. Do you find it too hot in the French sun? Then there is even an indoor pool where you can splash around.

Liked - Easy check in , showers great and clean , pool area lovely , pitch good
Disliked - Receptionists very rude - think because we’re English we don’t understand them laughing at us or another couple . I do have some French understanding and they shouldn’t assume British people can’t understand them .

Liked - We love the site and area. The site is welcoming and safe for our children, everyone is friendly. Our Moblie was lovely, clean and well equipped for our stay. This was our 7th visit in a row so that says it all really.

Liked - The staff are very friendly and informative. Nothing is too much trouble for them. We will certainly be back again, which will be our fifth visit.
Disliked - Our only criticism would be that the supermarket could be open when there are holidaymakers staying on the site. We couldn’t just pop down the shop for a couple of essentials.

Liked - Cleanliness, the Swimming Pool, the bar, restaurant and evening entertainment. The welcome and friendliness of all the staff family.
Disliked - The tarmac around the entrance to the pool could do with being looked at. There are also many stones on the pool side of the footbaths despite the footbath and shoe stowage. Some of the poolside slabs were uneven and moved on footfall.
Could not find a location for emptying 'grey water', so used the grey water drainage at the caravan service area..

Liked - A great site with great facilities. However a big thank you to the technical team. Having experienced a problem filling our camper van with water where the hose end fell off into our water inlet, the technical team were there to solve the problem with smiles in their faces . Liked - The weather, the pace of life, the calmer campsite (there’s stuff to do, but it’s not over facing or loud as in other local campsites), the pool, the facilities
Disliked - We thought it a little strange that you can drink alcohol by the pool but you can’t eat an ice cream. The pool rules seemed arbitrarily applied.

Travelling party: Seniors

Liked - We came to La Yole in 2023 and the children insisted on a return trip, because of a road accident we were unable to come in 2024 but this year (2025) was even better, the weather helped! An amazing holiday destination.
Disliked - The boys would like bigger pool slides!

Liked - Staff were always keen to help no matter the question. Site, pool and bar clean at all times. Nice to see water saving methods on showers. 2 x 7 minutes oer day very adequate.
Disliked - No improvements to mention as site was as advertised.
