Travelling party: Young couple

Grote,ruim opgezette camping,400 plaatsen waarvan 300 kampeer. Verschillende gedeeltes: op het open veld (zonnig) en in het bos (schaduw). Bepaal vooraf goed wat je wilt! Wij hadden een grote plek(150m2) met afvoer en wateraansluiting in het bos(X15). Achter ons stacaravans en voor ons kampeer. Veelal Engelse gasten(80%), niet hinderlijk. 1 nieuw sanitair gebouw(S3) met fijne douches. 2 verouderde(S1/S2) met wcbrillen. Beide goed schoon en goed warm water. Stranden en supermarkten 15min met de auto. St. Palais/Vaux-sur-Mer/Royan leuk voor wandeling. Zwembad leuk en goed restaurant. Een hele ruime plek, daardoor privacy. Geen hegjes! Veel schaduw, fijne met warme dagen. Bakker kleine 10min lopen, lekker croissants en goed brood. Daar ook een kleine Coop voor noodzakelijke boodschappen. Sanitair gebouwen S1 en S2 zijn aan een opknapbeurt toe. Soms lange stroomkabel nodig (25+ meter). Hegjes in het bos gedeelte voor meer privacy. Wel veel muggen, je wordt lek geprikt ;-)

Travelling party: Couple

Gisteren werd plotseling de horeca gesloten. Als reden werd gegeven dat de koeling kapot was gegaan. Dit vinden wij jammer. Was er geen andere oplossing mogelijk? Nu is er geen biertje meer te krijgen op het terras, geen ijsje, geen pizza afhalen en ook de gezelligheid die dat normaliter met zich meebrengt is nu afwezig. Voor een viersterren camping vinden wij dat teleurstellend.
