In 2012 new landscaped terraced camp site on the banks of the Vienne. A lot of entertainment during the whole summer, such as canoeing and pony riding. Special spacious pitches at a reduced rate.

lovely quiet site with views over the river. could do with a bit of updating but owners were very hospitable.

DO NOT STAY HERE, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! The owner sits and drinks at the bar most of the night blasting out loud music keeping everyone awake. When I confronted him at 3am he said it was his campsite he could do what he liked and then when I complained further he threatened to fight me. We left the next morning after after only our 3 night of 7 refusing to pay for the pitch (but paid for bread and the use of the washing machine). Having spoken to other some campers (mostly Dutch) they agreed that they would not pay for the nights they had been kept awake too. Several others cut their stay short and left before they had planned to! The owners lovely Dutch wife seems to be trying to run the site single handedly as well as look after to very small children! I feel sorry for her.
