Camping La Sorguette lies on the Sorgue River, within walking distance of the town of L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. The campsite looks green and well maintained and the La Clef Verte label is an indication of their approach towards sustainable tourism. Many activities take place on the river. Tours are also organised. The municipal swimming pool with three pools and a toddler pool lies at a distance of two km from the campsite. In peak season the entertainment team organises fun activities.

Tree hut or yurt

The spacious camping pitches are divided into four plots. They are wooded, easily accessible and all have electricity. The pitches have a reasonable amount of privacy and are surrounded by well-tended vegetation.

Even more fun: treat the children to a novel camping holiday in an exciting tree hut or a Mongolian yurt! These have authentic Mongolian furniture and are provided with hammocks and a barbecue. At night you can watch the starry sky through the 'eye' at the top of the tent.

The river as the source of life

The Sorgue River has always played an important role in this region. From time immemorial, activities such as fishing, agriculture and local festivities have always been inextricably connected to the river. These days you can take a leisurely walk along the quays and there is a pathway from the centre of town to Partage des Eaux.

You can also go on a trip on the river with a canoe or kayak. Canoe trips can be booked at the reception and canoes are for hire at the campsite. The river is reached via a gate at the far end of the terrain.

Très beau camping avec de beaux emplacements, dont certains très insolites et jamais vus ailleurs. Le personnel est très agréable. Le restaurant, mitigé, bon mais sans plus. Plusieurs coins sanitaires bien entretenus et proches de chaque emplacement. La ville de l'Isle sur la Sorgue tout simplement splendide. Bref magnifique séjour et camping à recommander vivement.

Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst aan de receptie. ’s Morgens kan je brood afhalen en je hoeft het niet te bestellen.
De camping bestaat uit verschillende percelen waar 4 plaatsen zijn voorzien. Wanneer je in de uiterste hoek staat is een lange kabel nodig naar de el.aansluiting. Het sanitair is netjes, heel mooie douches met een flinke straal alleen was tijdens ons verblijf zowel het water van de douche als het afwaswater lauw, wat toch wel vervelend is. Er zijn Twee laadpalen voorzien om de el. Wagen op te laden. Mooie omgeving, een bezoek aan het stadje is zeer de moeite waard. Ik kan de camping aanraden.

Der Campingplatz entspricht im großen und ganzen der Beschreibung im ACSI Katalog. Wir waren im September dort. Im Katalog steht , dass der Campingplatz ruhig ist.
Mich persönlich hat allerdings extrem gestört, dass viele Hunde nachts ununterbrochen gebellt haben. In der Nähe des Campingplatzes befindet sich ein Tierheim. Wir hatten schlaflose Nächte und sind aus dem Grund abgereist. Das war sehr schade.

Camping was al aan het afbouwen (september). 1 sanitair gebouw gesloten. Receptie was vriendelijk en hulpvaardig.

Sehr schöne Lage am Fluss, großzügige Stellplätze, super freundliches Personal! Allerdings könnten die Sanitäranlagen durchaus mal erneuert werden, aber die Sauberkeit ging in Ordnung. Tipp: Von Osten her anfahren, über D 900, D 24 und D 901. Mein Navi hat mich von Westen durch den ganzen Ort geführt, was ein wenig nervig war (Kreisverkehre, Bremsschwellen...).

Liked - Sehr freundliches und kulantes Personal. Großzügige stellplätze, wunderschönes Städchen
Disliked - Pool oder andere Möglichkeiten sich abzukühlen wären schön - aber wir waren vorab informiert, daher kein Minuspunkt

Liked - Der Camping liegt in Gehdistanz zu L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue.
Disliked - Es war während unseres Aufenthaltes sehr warm. In den Duschen kann man die Wassertemperatur leider nicht selbst regeln und diese waren viel zu warm, fast schon heiss, eingestellt. Ein Pool fehlt auch, also keine Abkühlung möglich!

Disliked - Sanitair werd maar 1x per dag met de Franse slag schoongemaakt. Geen wc bril.
