In the picturesque region of the Provence, lies the small campsite called Le Devançon. Here you will be camping at a peaceful location in the woods. This primarily French campsite is perfect for those looking for some peace and quiet as well as lovers of culture and the great outdoors. The region that you are in is very popular with tourists, but you'll hardly notice them when you are on the campsite. It is wonderful to come home to this small, green oasis after a day out.

Wooded terrain

The wooded terrain provides a sense of calm and gets excellent shade in several areas. Other locations get more sunlight. The pitches are located on terraces and are relatively flat. The pitches here have a gravel surface. Low hedges mark off the pitch boundaries to a certain extent. Want to hire something? If so, you can book a great mobile home or bungalow.

Swimming, hiking and cycling

The swimming pool and children's pool are beautiful. They have been built in a simple yet stylish way. You can swim a few laps and then relax on a lounger.

Children can enjoy themselves in the small play area and on the trampoline or play a game of table tennis. Activities are held on the campsite as well. The area around the campsite is great for brilliant hiking and biking adventures: there are all sorts of routes laid out through this extensive wooded terrain.

A drink at the lively bar

The bar on the campsite, which is decorated in a retro style, is a great place to relax after a day full of cultural activities, hiking or biking. You can also grab something to eat at the snack bar. There is a charming patio between the bar and the swimming pool, in the shade of the trees. You can purchase fresh bread every day on the campsite.

Liked - Good clean, tidy site. Good size placements. Madam was lovely, polite, helpful and informative.
Disliked - Shower block timed light could be a little longer.

Liked - We have a wonderful large pitch under the shade of the trees. We received a very nice welcome. The facilities are very clean and work well. Nice pool. Dogs must be kept on leads.
Disliked - A few more drinking water taps would be more convenient. WiFi needs a repeater if you are at one end of the site.

The tree in the middle of the road is a bit inconvenient!

Liked - Quiet and peaceful stay under the trees. A great place to stay to visit Aix en Provence. Lovely, large site with great access. Very clean toilets and beautiful pool.

We were fortunate to find this site. Although it was the end of the season and quiet and unfortunately they closed the pool area after a couple of days we still enjoyed our stay. Owners are very friendly and helpful and it’s very clean. Good site to base yourself for Provence especially Aix and montagne sainte victoire.

Liked - A lovely , quiet, well maintained site, clean and pleasant. Everyone was friendly, reception were helpful. The pitches felt private and the pool and bar area was great , the site had a lovely relaxed atmosphere to it. We loved it and would definitely book here again.
Disliked - No dislikes.

Liked - Excellent welcome from the owner, providing information about area and town activities. Pitch was very good and close to wash block. Met new people who will be friends for life. Thank you and we will return
Disliked - Pool closed as we are keen swimmers and don’t mind the cold water. However, this did not distract from our visit.
