On Huttopia Vallouise campsite, located in the Écrins National Park in the Hautes-Alpes, you camp with a view of the Alps. The campsite is located on the outskirts of the village of Vallouise, between the high peaks; an ideal place for active campers and adventurers. Of course they can go mountain hiking here, but there are many more outdoor activities possible. On the strongly flowing mountain rivers Le Gyr and L'Onde you can kayak very well. There is also a paragliding landing site near the campsite, which is great for campers who like to explore the heights.

We have used this campsite many times and there is a reason for that! It is in an area of outstanding beauty. The mountains take your breadth away with their majestic appearance at all hours of the day and night. We camp using our own equipment and are seasoned campers. The pitches are roomy and reasonably flat with grass (not all campsites have grass!). Toilet facilities are clean, the water is hot and there are enough showers etc. to suit the number of visitors. The village of Vallouise has restaurants, shops and a regular market. The mountains offer you the opportunity to bike along well marked paths which will keep you occupied for as long as you choose with different grades of difficulty. The pool is a welcome area to relax after your hike to mend sore muscles and joints. Overall, a wonderful place to visit in a wondrous region of France
