On this small and well-maintained family campsite in the southern French department of Vaucluse, you will enjoy the feeling of being completely surrounded by nature. You will camp just north of the medieval city of Avignon, within cycling distance of the town of Sorgues. La Montagne Campsite is situated among the pine trees on a lovely site featuring both a swimming pool and a terrace. There are many nice villages to visit in this part of Provence, and nature lovers can explore the beautiful surroundings on foot or by bike.

Well-kept and intimate

Spread over the beautiful grounds are around 50 camping pitches with adequate shade. Many pitches are unpaved and offer plenty of room, with a surface area of between 80 and 100 m2. The sanitary facilities were modernised in 2018 and look neat and tidy. The building is heated during the winter months. Would you enjoy some additional comfort? Then choose a hip gypsy wagon or one of the mobile homes. The abundant trees are a favourite spot for crickets, who's regular chirping helps enhance the feeling of nature.

Heated swimming pool

The small swimming pool on the campsite is ideal for both young and old. The outdoor pool is beautifully decorated with palm trees and boulders. There are also sunbeds with umbrellas around the pool. There is a paddling pool for the youngest swimmers and older children can enjoy themselves on the waterslide. You can regularly participate in an aquagym lesson or take a moment of rest in the jacuzzi. Looking to relax even more? Inquire at the reception about the massages that are available.

Travelling party: Couple

We stayed in the 1st week of October. Bar and restaurant and most facilities were closed.. a note by the pool said it closed end September..the water in the pool was dark green and full of growth..algae etc. It smelled very bad as you walked past it and from some distance away.. if it had been in use only two weeks before it would be a major health hazard.. the site is accessed along a narrow road with steep sided ditched either side.. w would not want to take a van or caravan alongbit and meet another vehicle.. there appeared to many single guys living in the chalets residentially.. the autoroute was very close and noisy.
