In Saint-Martin, directly located by the Ardèche River, you will find the quiet campsite des Gorges. However, it is not just the river where the water fun is to be found. The campsite also has a 200 m2 swimming pool, surrounded by palm trees and sun umbrellas. Canoeing on the river is highly recommended. The canoe trips start from the campsite. Enjoy your drink and a bit to eat in the evenings at the renovated camping restaurant with a view of the area.

Camping with a view

There are pitches in various sizes. Whichever pitch you choose, you will always be assured of ample shade from the poplars and acacias on the camping grounds. At the perimeter of the campsite you will find even quieter pitches as well as pitches with a lovely view of the hilly landscape. If you want some extra comfort, you can rent one of the new mobile homes for 5-7 person which are fitted with a dishwasher.

Refreshment galore

Life is not easy for water enthusiasts at this campsite. With a large outdoor swimming pool with children's pool and the Ardèche river within walking distance, it is really hard to decide where to spend the afternoon cooling off. At night the swimming pool is beautifully illuminated and during the day you have a lovely view from there because of the height difference. The sun umbrellas and palm trees ensure sheltered seating. In high season a lifeguard keeps an eye on things.

The Ardèche river has deep and shallow parts, so that young and old can enjoy the water. Tip: bring an air mattress to float down the river.

Es ist ein ruhiger gepflegter Campingplatz mit viel Grün. Der Ort ist weiter weg. Besser mit dem PKW oder Rad zu erreichen. Das Restaurant war nur zu bestimmten Zeiten geöffnet und seehr teuer. Der Campingladen hatte im Juni ebenfalls nur Vormittag geöffnet. Am Wiesenstrand sind noch 3 Lokale, davon ein Imbiss. Die Lokale sind am Wochenende überfüllt, Wiese und Parkplatz ebenso. Daher sehr teuer.

Très beau camping. Bien situé proximité de la rivière. Supermarché à 8 km et centre commercial à 18 km. Personnel très disponible et professionnels. Au pied des gorges et arrivé des descente de l'Ardèche en kayak. Location kayak et padel au bas du camping. Resto 3 étoiles.

Heerlijke camping, niet te groot. De toiletten en de douches waren oké. Leuke campingplaatsen. Personeel heel vriendelijk. Ligging aan de rivier was heerlijk. We gaan zeker nog een keer terug.
