Camping Le Chassezac

Been regular visitors to Le Chassezac, for around ten years. it is a rare thing, these days, with a family still running the site, and taking great care. The toilet facilities are usually kept immaculately clean (though like all campsites this is down to the people using the facilities at any one time). We have NEVER had to queue, and were there this year with our family who love this site. We haven't found the campsite too noisy at night - there is low key entertainment, which finishes early enough not to stop us sleeping. The bar restaurant offers a reasonably good choice of food. The swimming pool is lovely - a mix of a proper pool for swimming, a paddling pool, a children's pool with squirty water features, two slides. The river at the bottom of the site is lovely - a real peaceful haven with slow-flowing water, some rapids, and a 'beach' area with pebbles/shingle. Ideal for a four year old who loves this river.
