Beautifully situated campsite next to a lake and within walking distance of the town of Torigni-sur-Vire. The campsite is well cared for and offers many opportunities for families with small children.

We stayed for 2 nights after a long run back from Italy. We booked here as it was a short run to Cherbourg after a long run back from Italy. We sailed on D Day and parts of the N174 and N13 were closed to give important people a free run to the celebrations. The site gate opens at 08.00, but with the restrictions we asked to leave at 07.00. No problem, and gate was opened at 07.00.Pitches are a good size and reasonably flat, we did use a wedge to get level but no problem. Bar and restaurant open in the evening. Pool looked inviting although we didn't use it, others did. Easy walk into a nice and interesting town.

We arrived when during siesta time and the office was closed, so we went to the apparently open bar/restaurant. The lady was rude to us then and one several subsequent occasions.
