Camping Le Sabot Onlycamp is right next to this castle, in the village of Azay-le-Rideau in the department of Indre-et-Loire. This spaciously appointed campsite is in a wonderful setting, tucked between the castle, forest and River Indre. Furthermore, you camp right next to a municipal outdoor swimming pool that campsite guests can use for free in the summer.

Amazing location by a beautiful river and just a 2 minute walk into a lovely town. Bring mosquito spray. Spacious pitches on grass with plenty of room. No soap in toilet block(!), push button showers that weren’t particularly warm. No sports facilities on site but gave a 4* as tennis courts and pool next door.
