People who are into real camping should go to Camping Beauregard Plage. The focus of this campsite is on real camping in a natural environment and there is no rental accommodation. The campsite lies directly along a fine sandy beach, which can be accessed via its own path at the far end of the campsite. Outside the campsite you find charming little shops on the boulevard and cosy terraces where you can get a drink and a bite to eat.

We chose to go to this campsite as I’d been before many years ago. It had not changed 1 bit. I found that very welcoming. Check in was easy as the reception staff spoke English. We were given a map of the campsite and told what pitch we were on. The pitches were a decent size. We booked a pitch with electric and water. The campsite is a stones throw from the beach A gorgeous sandy beach. Could not get the dog out of the Med. The facilities were very clean. My wife is less able and took the opportunity to use the disabled facilities. She said how clean they were kept. The site is kept clean by the garden staff. Just outside of the campsite and you’re right in the town. I totally recommend the bakery at the bottom of the driveway. There are a lot of shops, bars and restaurants to choose from. I will go back to the campsite and will take advantage of one of the fully serviced pitches with its own bathroom facilities on the pitch.
