Fantastic

View 74 reviews

In the south of France, directly on the Mediterranean Sea, lies Camp du Domaine. On the way to the campsite you start to feel the Mediterranean climate. The campsite is surrounded by vineyards. The attractive village of Le Lavandou is nearby. There is a weekly market on Thursdays. From this village the boat leaves for Ile de Levant, one of the ‘Golden Islands’. Bormes-les-Mimosas, a bit further along, is renowned for its abundance of flowers.

Heavenly location: in a pine forest of 45 ha and next to vineyards directly on a beautiful sandy beach across the Golden Isles. One of the most beautiful campsites in Europe, especially suitable for families.

We came across this campsite by chance but it is perfect for small children, hence we are returning this year. The beach has a section which remains waist deep, meaning my 4yr old twins could walk out 50m to the wave breaker and see the fish. I felt very safe in the water with them. Life guard on duty and most of the people are families so everyone looks after each other. Campsite is huge but you don’t feel overwhelmed. We only ate out a few times due to COVID but the food was impeccable and the child entertainment was great fun. Top top site.
