Camping La Pelouse

I know it was the end of the season but campsite was neglected , wet, muddy and the reception area was a tip! We weren’t told the showers weren’t working ( workmen were installing new sinks) the water was turned off. We originally booked for two nights but decided to only stay for one.

Peaceful riverside location. However, we found the facilities to be very outdated and in need of attention and a good clean! The showers are accessed by a concrete staircase. A disabled unit was available but it was very dirty. We visited in October but the weather was still good. I wanted to do my washing but the tumble dryer had been broken since August. On the morning we left all the showers were cold!

Very convenient to visit beautiful Bergerac. Facilities ok. Hot showers. Very very Muddy in the rain. Mohomes pitch on something that will aid you leaving in wet weather

A municipal site which would benefit from some investment. The facilities are old but clean. Most pitches are in shade and not well marked out. Warm welcome but be aware that reception is closed for lunch, when we were there, from 12.30 until 15.30. Ideal for visiting Bergerac as only 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes on bike. Good value.

Lovely site right beside the gorgeous town of Bergerac. Great greenway V91 where you can spend the day cycling along the Dordogne. Lovely friendly staff, facilities old but clean.
