Camping Le Lido

One of the worst sites we have stayed on. The site is overgrown and messy. It is very difficult to even see where the pitches for motorhomes are between the trees due to the overgrown grass. A huge branch came down on our van whilst there. Very wet underfoot. Toilet and showers sometimes dirty, muddy and not heated, and the water not very warm for showers if you like a hot shower. Very little lighting on site at night. Good location for train & bus into Fontainebleau, but we realised the price was almost the same as a taxi for 2 people so it depends on your sense of adventure.. Pool was locked. Mini golf and tennis court full of leaves and unused. However laundry and drier worked well. ACSI card not accepted and one of the most expensive sites we used with the poorest facilities. However I understand it may have recently been sold, I hope the new owners can re-establish this as a good site as previous reviews were quite positive.
