Camping Le Colombier

Most hostile and rude welcome ever! We drove into the campsite courtyard through the open gates to check in at reception and this ride man came running over to us shouting at us because we didn’t park on the road outside. The gates were open so the instructions to park outside were not visible but instead of asking us politely to go around and park outside, he cancelled our booking. He is without a doubt the rudest receptionist I have ever encountered so we were happy to leave as I would never want to give such an undeserving host my money! As we drove through the campsite to the exit, we could see the pitches were small and reading the comments about the church bells rings 24 hours a day, I am glad we didn’t stay there. Definitely one to avoid!!

Such a fantastic, friendly campsite with super hygiene facilities. Restaurants 5 mins walk near the fabulous lake. We stayed one night as a stop over whilst driving to the Alpes & thought it was so great that we stayed there on our return journey.
