In the countryside of the Vendée, three quarters of an hour below Nantes, is the Domaine de L'Oiselière campsite. This eco campsite around a renovated farmhouse is a small, lovely family campsite with spacious pitches and a heated outdoor swimming pool. The modern facilities are fresh and tastefully decorated, as are the beautiful lodge tents and atmospheric cottages. In the campsite restaurant they cook with organic local products, also for sale in the shop.

We loved staying at this beautiful campsite. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the site is quiet, clean and very lovely. The pool is warm and refreshing. We will definitely return.

Very quiet family site with plenty of room between units. We had a very private cabin which provided a great spot to relax and recharge. There was a large covered area for games, table tennis etc. We liked the closeness of the animals and that we could visit the vegetable garden. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location for Puy du Feu. 40 mins away. No boom boom music or noise like many sites! Beautiful surroundings as situated in a quiet rural area.
Medium sized swimming pool which got busy at times and quickly became a bit dirty. Water was murky and not clear.

The space and safety for children to run and play, the accommodation and space around it (not too close to other tents), the bikes children could use to ride around the site. Best campsite I’ve ever stayed at.
More toilets and showers would be fab though they are adequate and always really clean.

Big pitch, quiet surroundings
The bathrooms definitely need a revamp, old and not children friendly. Family bathroom is very slippery, my son slipped twice so we started showering with flipflops on. Single showers the spray is way too hard and the cubicle is way to small. Everything gets wet including your towel and clothes. It's a beautiful building on the outside but needs some modernisering on the inside to have good bathrooms. Water for washing dishes also never gets hot enough, it is always luke warm.

We really enjoyed staying at Domaine de l'Oiselière. Great location, beautiful countryside. Cosy well equipped cabin. Eco-friendly. Very helpful and welcoming owner. Our children loved the pig, chickens, Sheep and frogs!!
