Camping Alpes Dauphiné has a wonderful location about three kilometres north of the town of Gap. In the summer months, a bus will take you to the centre for free from the campsite. The mountainous Les Ecrins National Park is also just around the corner, ideal for hikers.

We visited end of season so can't comment on the restaurant etc...Motorhome facilities are only just adequate and awkward to access, and the potable water is too close to the toilet cassette emptying point for my taste (same hose!!!). Good for families. All grass pitches of good size with EHU. Fine for a short stay if you're touring.
