Mean reception, leaky air mattresses, no mosquito netting, no restaurant, no bread delivery. Only a pool and some clean restrooms. Not my idea of a good time.

we arrived at the site in a thunder storm and torrential rain which didn’t begin our visit well. we were given a pitch tucked up in between trees and bushes and the weather conditions made it impossible to reverse our caravan into it. we chose a pitch ourselves and informed reception which they were ok with. having set up we went to search for water. the only tap we could find was beside the grey waste, doesn’t seem very hygienic when you’re after drinking water. the rain brought the mosquitoes out in force and the roads and woodlands were so uneven we were walking through a quagmire. the roads definitely need levelling properly. toilets and showers are shared men and women and you need to take your own toilet paper to the loos. close to Chateauneuf du Pape which is the sites saving grace. perhaps if the weather conditions had been better I would have written a better review, unfortunately I can’t recommend the site due to the bogging ground conditions, mosquitos, sanitary facilities and poorly managed wooded area (trees/bushes need thinning out).

We visited early in the season so the site was quiet, Pool opened while we were there and was lovely and clean. All the staff were very friendly and very helpful when we had a small problem with our Caravan lending us tools that rectifies the issue.

Nothing not to like
