View 35 reviews
Enjoy an unforgettable holiday in the South of France at the Camping Le Barralet campsite. This green campsite is located on the banks of the river Gardon, in the village of Collias. The campsite is located in an area with many remains from the Roman era. For example, the Pont du Gard is a stone's throw away. This impressive Roman aqueduct is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and is well worth a visit. The campsite restaurant (with bar and terrace) is the perfect place for a nice meal or a quick snack.

Booked 5 nights but stayed for a week. Perfect location on the river for walking, cycling and canoeing. Great onsite swimming pool. Close to Uzes for the fabulous market, would recommend

Vi nød området. Fine cykelveje og marked i Uzès. Var også på bilture i området. Skøn pool til de varme dage. God vaskemaskine til tøjvask. Fine tur muligheder med hunden.

The pitches for tents and caravans were large and very private. Facilities very clean.
No free WiFi and even if you pay for it, unable to get it in the pitch we were in. Bar staff very unfriendly and reception staff a bit indifferent,.didn't provide much information about anything. It's a 30 min drive to Nimes, which is further than we expected, but only 10 mins to Pont du Gard where there is great swimming in the river. There is also a pool at the campsite, but tends to be pretty busy.

A wonderful little campsite and gem of a find five minutes walk away from the river and kayaking. Lovely swimming pool on the site. The boulangerie in the village sell the best croissants I’ve ever had, worth the morning walk. I would definitely recommend this site if you are visiting Pont du Gard.
