In Rivedoux-Plage, a lively seaside resort on the small island of Île de Ré (Charente-Maritime), is Camping Platin - La Redoute. This three-star campsite is in an ideal location, at the front of the island, on a narrow headland. This means that the campsite is flanked on two sides by wide sandy beaches. So an ideal holiday destination for those who love the beach and water sports! There are also plenty of lovely hiking and cycling routes nearby and the campsite itself has a heated outdoor swimming pool.

lovely site next to the beach & village. on arrival we were given a choice of pitches. after setting up we were told our pitch was already booked..we had to move again. Toilets were poor condition a showers needed a deep clean.

Good site with large sandy/grass pitches, mostly level. Lots of ‘sanataire’ facilities and dish washing/hand washing facilities around the site, all immaculately clean. Heated outside pool which we used. Washing machine expensive! Easy walk into both La Flotte and Saint Marie if you like walking. Easy cycling routes. Would be noisy in summer as lots of kids facilities on site and next to a sandy beach. Would use again if needed. Friendly staff.
