In the Southern French region of Paca, close to La Garda, you will find the child-friendly yet peaceful terraced campsite RCN les Collines de Castellane. The campsite is recommended for families with children, especially because of the exciting swimming pool. The proud town of Castellane is approximately 10 kilometres further west, where you can walk through the medieval streets. Here, you will find fun shops and sidewalk cafés.
As the name suggests, RCN les Collines de Castellane is situated on hilly ground. The camping site has been terraced to provide all campers with a spacious pitch on the sunny southern slope which has plants and trees that provide some shade.

Het personeel van de camping is uiterst vriendelijk en de meeste spreken Nederlands. Het toilet gebouw waar wij bij in de buurt stonden was armoedig: slecht onderhouden en matig schoongehouden. Het zwembad is te klein voor het aanbod. Om de drukte te vermijden en toch even een stuk te kunnen zwemmen ging ik om 9 uur s’ochtends: geen probleem. Maar 2 van de 7 ochtenden kon ik er niet in en moest ik wachten tot 12 uur omdat het schoongemaakt moest worden.
