The Solitaire du Lac campsite is located on the shores of Lake Annecy. Here you can enjoy relaxed camping without the bells and whistles. You walk straight into the lake, whose water is lovely and warm in the summer. Boating, surfing, water skiing, cycling or mountaineering; it's all possible here. And by bike, bus or boat, you can easily reach the charming town of Annecy.

excellent campsite directly on Lac Annecy , amazing swimming area. friendly and helpful staff, good sized pitches, very good price . great supermarket just up the road

Overall, we were a little bit disappointed by this site. Access to the site entrance is very narrow and cars are parked along the road, making entry a real challenge. If you can, avoid the town of Annecy, which is bad for traffic. The pitches are tiny and there is little enforcement of maintaining clearance for the site access roads. Getting EHU was challenging due to the inconsiderate pitching of one caravan, and staff were reluctant to remedy it. On the plus side, the access to the lake was stunning and lake swimming was a joy. The scenery is breathtaking and the site is quiet at night.
