Camping Les Sables Blancs is situated in Concarneau, an attractive harbour town in the south of Brittany. You camp here in the so-called Breton Riviera: a landscape with beautiful beaches, idyllic bays and rugged rock formations. But there's also plenty to do on the campsite itself Dive into the swimming pool, join the karaoke and enjoy a meal in the restaurant.

Quiet campsite with sea views, well shielded plots with much or little shade as per your choice, supervised beach at 300 m. At 1.5 km is the old historic centre of Concarneau. Excellent sanitary facilities.

At first we were given a pitch which was too small for our caravan, awning and car, but we were given a larger one after two days. We had booked a large one. We did enjoy our stay and the area and town of Concarneau. Did think that the chemical toilet was awkward to get to. Custoner service and restaurant good.

Walking distance - 25 mins to town but much shorter walk to beach. Pleasant atmosphere. Lovely views. Unfortunately restaurant is not open every evening

We enjoyed our stay in May. The campsite was quiet at the time and the pool was closed, but it gave us great access to the beach and the old town was a 20 min walk away. The facilities were well equipped and clean. The site has a lovely cafe/restaurant with a great view over the sea.

Very organised site, we arrived to an allocated pitch which had power & water, adequate space for caravan, car and outdoor seating. We were given a map for the walk into town, cycle paths and our free WiFi code for the 3 days we stayed. Modern, extremely clean toilet and shower facilities, but water could have been warmer. Had an excellent stay.

Closest site to Concarneau which is a short 15 minutes walk through a park area to the rear of the site or a longer route via the coast. The area is bike friendly with many cycle routes and quiet roads. The site is popular with units arriving mid morning and being offered access to available pitches (you are asked to walk the site and choose from a selection given to you). Mostly shaded pitches apart from one row in front of the pool which also gave good views of the sea. We were on pitch 73 which had good mid afternoon - evening sunshine. We ate in the restaurant which had a good menu, was at full capacity and looked and felt like a proper restaurant. The food was very good. The outdoor swimming pool allowed mens UK swimming shorts, was very clean and fairly busy on a sunny day. The toilet block was brilliant and better than a UK 5* site or Caravan or Motorhome site in the UK. Would definitely recommend for site facilities and location to Concarneau.
