Camping Les Portes de Sancerre is a quiet campsite on the banks of the Loire, which forms the natural border of the departments of Cher and Nièvre. You'll camp on shady grounds in a wine region around Sancerre, the medieval village where famous wines from the Sauvignon Blanc originate. A tasting in one of the local wineries is definitely an option!

Well-kept campsite on the Loire river. Spacious marked pitches with plenty of shade. At the campsite is the ability for tennis, golf and canoeing. Next to the campsite is an outdoor swimming pool. Very close to Sancerre, known from the wine.
