Camping Villey-le-Sec

What a lovely site. We spent 2 nights here, on our way to Switzerland and would have stayed longer if we had had more time. There is a steep, twisty descent down to the site, but given the number of people with caravans it did not seem to be a big problem. The staff were really welcoming and their grasp of English put us to shame. Some of the pitches seemed a bit small but ours was very spacious and right on the banks of the Moselle, with plenty of shade. Toilets and showers were satisfactory. An on site restaurant had recently opened and was very good. We were also provided with free hire bikes and rode into Toul along the river. We would definitely return.
