Camping de Cognac

Upon arrival was told by manager in the office that he was on his own so toilets may not be always clean how we’d like them but he didn’t have time to do them and if we didn’t like it we could leave! Note on office door “Closed 12 -4pm ! I said that I hadn’t seen it on website but he said it’s on the door ( we arrived about 1.30 ) To wait at Snack by Bar Swimming pool is green with knee height weeds between slabs around pool ! Such a shame as could be a nice site with the Var and snack bar serves good meals but it’s run separately from the camp site .

Peaceful, good size pitch with plenty of shade. we had a pitch by the river. Thirty min walk to centre of Cognac. Would return.

very pleasant stop, would return. ideal base to see Cognac. Beautiful walks and cycle along the river.
