Camping Les Rives du Lac

This site charges to fill motorhome fresh water tanks. There is a credit card operated insanitary motorhome service point outside the site - toilet dump and freshwater hose sharing the same cabinet. Site taps are all “push button” operated, these recently having replaced more traditional water point taps we were told. Many rules here, no washing to be dried on pitch, being one we found especially irksome. Ditto pot wash time restrictions on usage and tepid water. We will not be returning.

Had a lovely stay, friendly helpful staff, spoke English, you could order bread, croissants. Shower good and clean only thing I would say was that the shower each time you need to press a button for a few minutes water be careful as it is very hot each time you press it. WiFi is only possible near reception.Also we found out we could travel from Annecy to Geneva on FlixBus from town center 1 hour drive on a coach.also great cycling path all the way round the lake straight from the camp site never had to go on the road. Also bus to town is every 30 mins and only 10 min walk from camp site same walking time to carrefour supermarket and in same area places to have a coffee and also a museum of making bells.

The staff here spoke very good English and were very helpful. The power bollards can be some distance from the pitch and our 25 metre cable wasn\'t long enough but the staff found an extension and converter plug which solved the issue. More expensive than elsewhere but typical for this area. Great, cheap bus service around the lake from just a long the road.

A truly brilliant campsite. Well placed for access to Annecy, restaurants, supermarket cycle path, lake and great walks. The staff are exceptional and can’t do enough for you. Toilet block is very clean and well maintained. Visiting food providers of great quality. My only regret was leaving. Out third visit but not our last.

Idéalement situé sur les bords du lac d'Annecy, avec sa plage privée et son ponton. Les pistes cyclables passent juste à la sortie du camping et permettent de faire de belles balades. Un parcours de randonnées est également très proches. Les commerces sont justes à côté.
