Camping Bord de Mer

lovely location a few minute walk to beach but difficult to manoeuvre as a steep hill and then tight turn so not easy in a large motorhome pitches overlooking the beach when standing up are very big but others are quite small you will need a 30 metre cable for hook up you can cycle to st Jean de luz in 15 mins

brilliant find. directly on a shingle beach with a real surfy vibe. a couple of bars serving food and tapas on the beach which were great. bread available in the morning. bus stop just outside campsite entrance with a 10 min ride into St Jean de Luz. we walked back around the coast which took around 40/45 minutes - a lovely walk. also caught the train from just opposite bus station into San Sebastián which was a lovely day out. staff very welcoming, helpful and informative. will definitely be back - one of our favourites.

Our 2nd visit but with large outfit chose the lower level without having to head up the steep slope and negotiate turning. Not many pitches have a sea view as mentioned, costing extra. Oyombre beach is rather gritty and small for all the campsites in that area. Imagine it\'s crowded and noisy in summer, though this is a pleasant site without its own razzmatazz.
