Camping Yelloh! Village Les Cascades

8.1

Fantastic

View 12 reviews

The friendly family campsite Les Cascades is located directly on the bank of the Cèze river. The name of the campsite is derived from the water falls ('les cascades') which you can see and reach directly from the campsite. The wooded region in which you are staying is called Vallée de la Cèze. Although very touristy these days, there are still numerous quiet spots to be found and the hilly landscape is as beautiful as ever. The campsite is in close proximity to the medieval town of La Roque-sur-Cèze.

Mixed feelings. Usually, I always love Yelloh sites. This one mixed. Best for families with children. The setting is first class. The pizzas are great. Most other things have room for improvement. Best when mainly empty or quiet, bit of a nightmare when full. Issues: people allowed to arrive at 2230 and make excitable noise for an hour. Cars driving around site at midnight. Leaf blowers from 0730. Not enough staff. No control over rules - people can do what they like unchallenged. More issues

The actual Motorhome site we’re on is awful! Very narrow and long and on a steep slope! Hard rocky gravel underneath our groundsheet. Not worth the premium price we’ve paid for what is a magnificent part of France!
