In the middle of the well-known French wine region Languedoc there is the Herault region, and at walking and biking distance from the Valras-Plage beach there is the campsite La Plage et du Bord de Mer. Close to exceptional cities such as Béziers and Narbonne, with impressive architecture and a rich history. But also centrally located to explore the picturesque landscapes of the hinterland.

Ich war im September 25' auf dem Campingplatz La Plage et du Bord de Mer und hatte dort einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Der Platz liegt direkt am Meer – vom Stellplatz aus ist man in wenigen Schritten am breiten, feinen Sandstrand. Besser geht es kaum. Der Campingplatz ist sauber und gepflegt. Die Sanitäranlagen wurden regelmäßig gereinigt und waren immer in gutem Zustand. Auch die gesamte Anlage wirkt ordentlich und ansprechend gestaltet. Praktisch ist die Lage: Gleich hinter dem Platz gibt es einen kleinen Bäcker und einen Supermarkt, in dem man sogar Wein aus Fässern in mitgebrachte Flaschen abfüllen kann. Wer etwas mehr Auswahl möchte, ist mit dem Fahrrad in etwa fünf Minuten im Ort, wo es zahlreiche Geschäfte und Restaurants gibt. Der Platz ist insgesamt ruhig, das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Durch die direkte Strandlage und die gute Infrastruktur in der Nähe eignet sich der Campingplatz ideal für alle, die entspannte Tage am Meer verbringen möchten. Ich kann La Plage et du Bord de Mer auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.
