View 35 reviews

A well-maintained and large campsite in the warmest area of Germany in the Baden-Wurttemberg region. Surrounded by greenery and located on the river Rhine, the spacious grounds offer many amenities, such as two wonderful swimming lakes and two restaurants where you can enjoy an extensive menu indoors and outside on the terrace. The mini golf course, the climbing wall, the animation and the bouncy castle in the summer are nice extras for young children. At the Freizeitcenter Oberrhein, you will also meet many German guests who come back regularly and enjoy socialising. The most beautiful routes along the Rhine await hikers or cyclists.

We have just spent 5 nights here. it is a well organised site with super clean facilities. We’ve really enjoyed our stopover and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. We will be leaving on a Saturday morning and Friday the site has been filling up. Perhaps, if given the option make it a mid week break to avoid the crowds. One thing to mention, the site shop is very expensive Eu15 for 4 bread rolls and 4 croissants. Shop at Aldi or Edeka instead in the next town!
