There is an outdoor swimming pool just a kilometre away. A supermarket and some restaurants are a 5 minute drive.

Or take the car to admire the Externsteine rock formation (19 km). This natural monument is both a place of worship and watchtower where, after a nice walk and a short climb, you have a beautiful view of the surrounding area.
