Prümtal-Camping Oberweis is a climate-friendly family campsite on the River Prüm in the green countryside of Eifel. The campsite has won various prizes and has an excellent entertainment team, good restaurant and a wonderful heated outdoor swimming pool with a slide. There is a sports bar for sports fans that shows live competitions. The various prizes this campsite has won are testimony to the fact you are staying at a first-class campsite here. The owner ensures you feel welcome and is very friendly and enthusiastic. The campsite has the ‘Klimafreundlich Betrieb' (climate-friendly operations) label and is committed to protecting the environment.
Heated outdoor swimming pool
If your holiday is not complete without a dip in the water, then the River Prüm flows past the campsite and is the perfect place for an afternoon of fun in the water. The campsite also has a heated outdoor pool with a playful water fountain and a wide water slide. The children’s pool, which is separated from the deep pool, is a safe place for the little ones to play.
The entertainment team offers a varied programme based on themed weeks, such as a ‘caboodle of chaos’ week and a ‘thieves’ week. Activities are organised every morning (except on Saturdays), afternoon and evening. On Wednesdays, the campsite goes all out with even more games, snacks and drinks and great crafting activities.
The lovely restaurant Köhler-Stuben is situated next to the campsite swimming pool. Enjoy a good meal on the patio or in cold weather, in the conservatory with a wonderful view of Prüm Valley. The campsite also has its own pizzeria: Papa Razzo. Here you can eat in or take away a delicious pizza or pasta dish.

Stayed for 2 nights en-route to the black forest. Excellent site with a great swimming pool, restaurant and bar area. Best meal I had on the holiday, would recommend the farmers pot. Not much to do off site but our daughter was more than happy chilling by the pool both days. Germany certainly knows how to do touring sites.
This is our first visit and it won’t be the last. The whole experience has been a joy. The campsite is set in lovely surroundings with plenty of points of interest to keep one occupied. Reception staff were helpful and informative. Facilities are first class and our pitch overlooking the river peaceful and attractive. Already looking forward to our next visit.

The toilet and shower block are the best I've ever seen in more than 40 years of camping. Immaculately clean no matter what time of day with never a "Closed for Cleaning" sign to be seen. The site staff just cycle through the day (literally) to keep them pristine. The new shower block even has underfloor heating - now there's 5 star luxury for you!!
Good walking and cycling from the site, although as you'd expect fairly hilly.
Lovely campsite in a lovely village. We should have stayed longer,as Trier has been recommended. Probably the best shower/wc facilities we've seen. Nice walks in the surrounding area and the pool looks great, but we didn't use. Bar/restaurant really good, which was good as they were the only ones in the village.
This site is very good, we had a nice welcome in reception and were allowed to choose our pitch. The toilet facilities here will put some 4* hotels to shame!
Excellent off-season site. We found plenty of spare space in the 2nd week of September. It has the best toilet / amenity block we've ever used, lots of fully serviced pitches available and free wifi. A nice restaurant is on site, used by locals as well as campers. Good for dog walking with paths straight from the site. Helpful staff / owners.
Suspect it is very very busy with familes in the season, though.
Excellent site. Very clean and well run. Lovely location. Fantastic reception staff. We will be returning.
The best toilet block I have ever come across in my many years of caravanning. Lovely friendly staff and well laid out pitches. Plenty to see in the area.
We hae stayed on this campsite 15 times over the last 8 years and find it excellent. Family owned and they together with their staff cannot do enough for you. All speak English. Good amount of literature now in English too. WiFi reception has been improved to cover whole campsite and it is Free too. We were first here this year in April and the luxurious new toilet, shower laundry etc block was complete and is equal to a 5* Hotel. The underfloor heating at this time of year is wonderful. Other rooms in the block are special for children. About 80 new service pitches have been built in front of the block. When visiting in mid June everything was still immaculate even though the site was full for Corpus Christi long weekend holiday. While staying here you must visit the onsite excellent restaurant Kohler Stuben it is first class and well below British prices.
Lovely staff, English spoken by all in the office. Restaurant lovely and food great, you wouldn't think you were in a campsite. Very quiet because of the season. Toilets were outstanding, warm and allways clean.
