In a beautiful green valley in the state of Rheinland-Pfalz (Rhineland-Palatinate), the Camping Waldfrieden campsite is surrounded by meadows, mountains and forests. On the sloping camping grounds, situated against the edge of the forest with tall trees, you will find a playground and a nice bar with an attractive indoor area and a covered terrace. With the green surroundings, you might almost forget that you are camping close to the touristy Saarburg. In just a few minutes by bike, you can be in the cosy, historic city centre with nice restaurants and beautiful sights.

Green all around you

On the gently sloping grounds, there are different types of touring pitches. The hedges and bushes that delineate the pitches provide plenty of privacy. In the front, near the playground, are some comfortable pitches with grass concrete blocks, ideal for campers. If you walk a little further back, you'll come across the places where the regulars make their camps. Those who would like to come and spend the night without their own camper or caravan can rent the mountain hut. The heated sanitary facilities are not very modern, but they are clean. As the sun sets, listen out for the owls that regularly make themselves heard on the grounds.

Lantern parade and a campfire

Especially in the summer months, the campsite is a real delight for children and their parents. Have a dance at the children's disco, make some crafts or join in with the lantern parade. It's all possible. There is a playground, and if the weather is not so great, you can also play inside with your new friends. Snacks and drinks are served on the patio, but you can also use the grill and fire pit. Fancy a walk? Then inquire at the reception about guided hikes. Those who want to swim can walk to the municipal swimming pool, which is about two kilometres away.

Zeer slecht staat slechts verstopt een automaat om door de slagboom te komen maar die werkt niet dus moesten wij langs de straat slapen geen receptie of iemand bereikbaar. Zeer ver van de bewoonde wereld. Geen aanraden

Mooi gelegen camping, tegen de prachtige heuvels nabij het prachtige stadje " Saarburg"
Zeer gastvriendelijk en faciliterend in brede zin.
Comfortplaatsen zijn uitstekend.
Komen zeker weer terug.

Wir waren 1 Woche auf diesem wundervollen Platz. Der neue Betreiber hat sich sehr gut auf seine Gäste eingestellt. Sanitäranlagen waren sehr sauber, der Brötchenservice klappte hervorragend. Jeden Tag konnten wir in der wunderschönen Umgebung viele Ausflüge unternehmen und hatten tolle Erlebnisse. Wir kommen sicherlich gerne wieder.

Leuke rustige camping die sinds maart gerund wordt door nieuwe eigenaren. paarden verhaal is niet meer van toepassing. Sanitair is Spice en span en aan heel veel zaken is en wordt gewerkt waardoor het alleen maar beter gaat worden. een om te onthouden en terug te komen.
