Camping Desimi Beach

This is now one of my favourite campsites, ever. It's nothing much to look at and is not at all modern, (although it is in a spectacular bay), but it has some of the nicest, friendliest, hard-working people you'll ever wish to meet running it. We stayed 4 days, instead of the 2 we had originally planned. The owner went out of his way to be helpful; from the selection of the pitch to levelling our motorhome, organising car hire and taking us to collect it, ensuring we had bread etc, etc, etc. He'll even launch your boat for you, if you have one. The staff who clean the toilets and clear leaves from the site work non-stop and very efficiently and are also happy to give advice and help with issues. Although the toilets are in need of refurbishment, they are always clean and pleasant to visit, the showers were always hot and clean and the dish washing room had the hottest washing up water I've ever come across. We were camped a stone's throw from a lovely beach with still, clear waters and a view to die for. What more do you need?

had a lovely stay on this site. I bit tight, (7.4m) but we were helped on and off. Great atmosphere in the taverna and good reasonable priced food. A bit quirky, but we loved it!
