Periode of stay: January 2025

We stayed here for a week in very foggy conditions. Owing to the saturated nature of the ground, the receptionist allotted us a pitch on one of the access roads, which have gravelled surfaces. The site is quiet. A railway runs nearby but the trains are electric and pass by rapidly, so the disturbance is minimal. Hoorn is an attractive town 4km bike ride or a frequent bus 314 from a stop about 900m away took us into Amsterdam. Very helpful staff. Dank u!
