We really enjoyed our stay at this campsite. It was an easy bus/tram ride to get into the centre of Pest. The toilets and showers were clean and never a line-up for them. There were plenty of facilities nearby including a supermarket, and the discounted meals at the university were such great value for money. Szolt, Klaudia and Eva were so friendly, their customer service can not be beaten :) Thanks for having us!!

We stayed four nights very friendly fly helpful staff excellent transport links to city. Heavy rain meant grass boggy but hard standing available. Train track nearby but quiet during night.

Excellent place. I agree with all the points on the other reviews. They rang taxis for us every day negotiating complicated arrangements with the drivers involving airport pick up and our dog making sure we got a fair price. Even didn\'t mind when we broke off a strip from the wooden bridge by leaving our steps out on the motorhome!

The best camping since mi family and me started our trip around the world by car. Really good area to relax, metro is near, supermarket.. Yo have all in the same place.

Great campsite for access to Budapest. Staff very friendly and helpful, providing loads of information about Budapest on arrival and even some useful information about Prague (which was one of our next destinations) when, we left.

When we stayed we had an issue that we mislaid one of the loading ramps for our trailer (on the the way to the site) and Csort at reception was brilliant advising where the nearest DIY place was where we could get materials to make a replacement.

Bus stop is just outside the site and there is a large Spar shop 10- 20 minutes away on foot.

Food at the University (CEU) is cheap and filling - they also have a bar / café which had decent free WiFi - better than that on the site.

Only negative about the site is that the railway runs along an embankment behind it and the trains are very noisy and seem to run most of the night.

The site also appears to be under the flight path for the airport.

Pladsen er meget ren og paen med gode faciliteter bl.a. opvarmet toiletter og bade med ubegraenset varmt vand. Vi besoegte pladsen om vinteren hvilket bl.a. betoed at der var lukket for vandet udendoers pga. risiko for frostspraengte roer, men var dog en vandslange fra toilettet saa man kunne sagtens faa vand paa. Den sidste stjerne mangler dog pga et lidt larmende tog der koerer forbi pladsen, men det er til at leve med. Gode transportmuligheder til Budapest, og et meget venligt personale. Alt i alt en god og billig campingplads

Wonderful site, friendly helpful staff and easy to catch transport to Budapest town. Good and clean facilities. Great to find it open and all services active in winter.

The reception lady is lovely and her manner and genuine interest in helping is a highlight. She puts in a lot of effort to welcome you and give information about Budapest. Please provide up to date maps though as there was old information on ours. Still very grateful for the map though!

There are bus stops close to the camp site, to and from the city, less than 5 minutes walk from the camp. Catch any bus along this main bus route into the metro. Bus trip 5 minutes.

A shopping complex with food stores is about half a kilometre away.

The grounds are leafy and well maintained. The camp ground is directly below a train line which gets very noisy. However, strangely enough because we knew about this from a previous review before arriving, it didn\'t ruin our stay. The trains pass quickly after all.

The shower room is kept warm and cosy but only shower curtains are provided (no locks). There should be hooks inside the shower cubicle for your things. There is one outside per shower.

There is only one lockable toilet in the toilet room as far as I could tell which is annoying.

There really needs to be a way to dry your hands in the amenities, particularly in such cold weather.

Don\'t bother with the Internet connection in the camp site. It doesn\'t work and the lovely reception lady warns that it is weak at check in. Take up her offer to sit in the reception and use the fast wifi there.

Very Nice camping ground! It is close to the city centre and has reasonable prices. Staff is really friendly and they also offer a playground for children. Toilets are kept really clean.

Stayed 2 nights at the camping and would have stayed even longer if our plane would wait.
Only a few minutes to get to the city center with public transport.
