Tidy campsite. Let down because of shortage of hot water for gents showers. Reception is closed for much of the day. No shop (and nearest are quite a long walk) or bread ordering. There is a food van that comes round 5 days a week between 7:40 and 7:55 for those that get up early. The on site restaurant is very good and the chap in charge is excellent and speaks good English. Thermal lake is quite pricy for a swim. You can swim in the river in the opposite direction which is the overflow from the thermal lake.

Well run site. Nice staff. Well maintained facilities. surrounded by greenery, lots of birdsong in May. Easy cycle route into Keszthely and the palace etc. A short walk to the thermal lake entry. However the lake waters flow into a canal running through the campsite and are easily accessed for swimming in the thermal water without needing to enter the paid spa enclosure. Pleasant bar-restaurant. Great for children and adults alike.
