This site is potentially a good base for exploring the Irish `Midlands\', but I cannot recommend it. The proprietor (Eamon) is *never* to be found in the camp `reception\' (a small hut outside the main gate, which appears to be full of rubbish); and when (if) you do find him he is a surly individual who clearly doesn\'t like touring campers -- he much prefers his long-stay residents. The site is expensive for what it offers. The showers (for which there is a further charge!) are poorly designed; and the `camp restaurant\' is a myth -- it\'s a cafe, outside the main gate and under separate management, which closes at 6 pm, so it\'s no use for evening meals. One oddity is that the entrance barrier opens automatically (without any need for a code) as you approach it from either side; so it provides no security for residents.
