There was a warm welcome and we had a pleasant and relaxing stay here in our motorhome. The site is pretty small but the pitches are fairly private and generally separated by hedging. The facilities were clean and we liked the shower/toilet setup, which is preferable to small cubicles. The site is within walking distance of a village with a small shop, pub and restaurants (including fish and chips). It is located opposite the sea, but unfortunately there are no sea views from pitches and it's more of a rocky estuary than a beach. We had our bikes with us, so cycled to the nearest beach (White Strand), which was a bit of a climb (it would be easier with e-bikes!). We later took our motorhome to White Strand as we found there was some parking behind the sea wall. We also ventured to Doughmore Beach, which is next to Trump International Golf Course, but there is limited parking and the staff of the golf course clearly don't like people visiting, though we were told by a local that it is publicly accessible. Overall we enjoyed our stay here though suspect we may have run out of things to do in the area if staying longer than 3 nights.
