The campsite, with good amenities, is located in Westport Country Park. The park offers a lot of recreational opportunities, such as boating, mini train, pub, pedalo, tennis court, etc. Next to the park are possibilities for sea fishing, sailing and walks on the beach. Recreational possibilities for children, both indoor and outdoor. Lovely country estate, worth a visit.

Used the site as a base for the Greenway cycle. Excellent cycle way along the Wild Atlantic way following the old Railroad Track to Achill.
