Camping Krounebierg

Unfortunately we arrived after a bout of bad weather and the pitch(504) we were allocated was muddy and on a slope, we could not use ramps to level up the steepness of the pitch as the ramps sunk into the plot's surface. Leaving after a peaceful night proved troublesome as our driving wheels could not grip to counter the steep pitch. By a bit of judicious reversing we did finally find traction and escape. The showers were superb, spacious cubicles with plenty of hot water.

Stayed at Camping Krounebierg for a few days prior to moving further South. While the site is located some way from Luxembourg City the transport links by train are excellent. Free parking at the station, free train into the city which takes around 20-25mins. All public transport is dog friendly and FREE. We spent two days exploring the city while was about right. Campsite has easy access and good sized level pitches. Can’t comment on the swimming pool because we didn’t use it.

Unfortunately, we only stayed one night at this lovely campsite, owned and run as a family project. We arrived in our camper van late in the afternoon and were greeted by a super sweet and service-minded young woman, she did everything to make us feel welcome and assigned us a lovely pitch that suited our needs. Facilities such as shower and toilet etc.etc are top notch, and we couldn't complain about our visit to the restaurant either. Lovely and tasty food at reasonable prices. As I started writing, we were only there one night, but if we ever come past the fantastic Camping Krounebierg, we will definitely stay again for a longer stay, and we hereby give Camping Krounebierg our warmest recommendation.
