The Frisian campsite De Kleine Wielen is suitable for all ages. The campsite offers plenty of water fun and various playgrounds and there is a fun entertainment programme for the children. But its location in nature park 'de Groene Ster' also makes this an ideal spot for nature, sports, and fishing enthusiasts. Culture lovers can indulge themselves in the nearby city of Leeuwarden.

an extensive site, nicely laid out..mostly on longish grass ,which is nice ,but very wet underfoot although the ground is very firm for your vehicles. ACSI users will be some distance from the main reception and cafe area so be prepared for a healthy walk or short cycle...many payments, eg laundry, are by aoo!! download \' air wallet \" n advance to use a washing machine. it does work ok! overall a pleasant, clean, restful site..very quiet and in natural surroundings.
