Centrally located between the old town of Workum and the IJsselmeer you’ll find Sudersé campsite. This small-scale farm campsite has very spacious pitches on green camping fields surrounded by trees and bushes. Near the campsite, there is an organic agricultural and horticultural farm. In the farm shop, you will find organic products of their own cultivation.
Our campsite Camping Sudersé is centrally located between the old city of Workum with its rich history, culture and a beautiful, cozy center, and the beautiful IJsselmeer with its beautiful beach. Workumer beach is the ideal place for sunbathing, swimming, surfing, sailing and/or fishing. You can also explore the Frisian landscape beautifully from the campsite by bicycle, boat or canoe.
View detailsThe huts It Lurkje (Leeuwerik) and It Sweltsje (Swallow) have been on our campsite for many years! These popular hiker's cabins offer space for 4 persons. The newly renovated cabins are simply furnished with 2 bunk beds, a compact counter, refrigerator and a sitting area. In addition, the cabins are equipped with a complete kitchen inventory in which all necessities are available for 4 persons. <br>There is a fixed picnic table at the hut. <br>Pay attention:<br>- Bring your own bedding! (bottom sheet, devet/sleeping bag, pillowcase)<br>- Departure before 11 am<br>- Leave the hiker's cabin clean and tidy!<br>If not, we will charge a cleaning fee of € 50,00!!
View detailsThere are also 2 hikers' cabins on the campsite that offer accomodation for 5 people. The Lyster (Lijster) and De Protter (Starling) were newly built in 2018. These cabins consist of one room in which there is a sitting area, sink unit, refrigerator and 2 bunk beds ( 1x2 persons and 1x3 persons). The cabins are equipped with a complete kitchen inventory in which all necessities are present for 5 people.<br><br>The cabins have a cozy veranda with picnic table, where you can enjoy the fresh air!<br><br>Pay attention:<br>- Bring your own bedding! (bottom sheet, duvet/sleeping bag, pillowcase)<br>-Departure before 11 am<br>-Leave the hiker's cabin clean and tidy!<br>If not, we will charge a cleaning fee of € 50,00!!
View detailsIf you come with an even larger group, the new cabin De Skries, in Dutch the Black-tailed Godwit, is a good option for you and your company. This cabin offers space for up to 6-8 people!<br><br>This cabin contains two separate bedrooms, each with sleeping space for 3 people. On a sofa bed in the living room two more sleeping places can be created! There are two clothes racks in the bedrooms.<br><br>In the kitchen area there is a sink unit with 4-burner stove, hot/cold water connection, fridge-freezer and a complete kitchen inventory in which all necessities are present for 8 people. The kitchen area runs into the living area which is furnished for 8 people with a table, chairs and some storage space. And here is also the sofa bed!<br><br>Next to the entrance is a small closed room that is furnished as a wardrobe.<br><br><br>This cabin has a small veranda with a double bench. On the terrace in front of the cabin is a large picnic table! There is also garden furniture.<br><br><br>Notice:<br><br>- Bring your own bedding! (bottom sheet, comforter / sleeping bag, pillowcase)<br><br>- Departure before 11.00 hours<br><br>- Hiker's hut clean and tidy leave! If this leaves much to be desired then we bring € 50.00 cleaning fee!<br><br>- In July and August arrival and departure are required on Friday or Monday, so at least one weekend or midweek.
