The Hitjesvijver campsite is located on the edge of Heerlen in Limburg. This friendly campsite is located in the hilly region of Parkstad Limburg. You can camp near Kerkrade, Landgraaf and Valkenburg, or in Belgium and Germany. The campsite has separate pitches for campers, and there are several other nice accommodations.     <p>Would you like to go on holiday with your own tent, caravan or folding trailer? On our camping site, we have a nice pitch for you, a (heated) swimming pool and a paddling pool and nature playground for our little guests. You can use our new heated and sustainable sanitary building and the dishwashing area free of charge. You will find the camping pitches on cosy fields with enough space for young and old to relax. But don't worry about getting bored here! There is plenty to do at our campsite and you can be in the attractive city of Heerlen in no time.</p>

  • Hiker's Cabin

    <p>Among the trees and on high poles you will find our two hiker's huts. In a cozy spot on our campsite, namely near the swimming pool. The two wooden log cabins are very practical, simple, but above all very cozy. The cabins are suitable for up to 4 people. Our new (heated) and sustainable sanitary building, dishwashing area and fridge/freezer in the laundry room are at your disposal free of charge.</p>

The new shower and toilet block is very smart and the nicest I have ever seen. Pitches are spacious as car is parked in parking area.

Comfortable stay with a motorhome on hard standing pitch. Motorhome service point available. Good security with key for entry and exit from the site. Shops within walking distance. For summer months outdoor pool and a brassiere ( which opens in June).

There was a lot of renovation work particularly to the sanitation building with only 2 unisex showers and toilets however they were clean. I think when this work is completed it will be lovely and a good site to visit.
