Waterland is a region north of Amsterdam, consisting largely of a peatland area with ditches and canals. EuroParcs Poort van Amsterdam is located in the east of Waterland, next to the Markermeer, in the village of Uitdam. There are stunning views of the Markermeer from many places on this holiday park. It's also the ideal base for visits to Marken and Volendam. Both these tourist attractions are less than fifteen minutes' drive away.
